It is a nice one. He has been carrying that one for a while now. Every time he posts a picture up of it I slobber down my shirt just a little bit.
Greg, I been totin that Sig since December of 2013,
I've tried to carry many others....just can't get away from it.
So reliable, so accurate, and enough ooompf.

The backup has seen a few others also, but, dang , that little 6 oz 32 acp just has my heart.

That Sig is a fine piece.
I was thinking I'd like to get one in 9mm. It took quite a while till I could find one to put in hand.
Unfortunately it just doesn't fit my hand.
If I decide to change to a 1911 I'll probably go with the Springfield EMP w/3" barrel, or maybe the Ruger Lightweight Officer-Style, or maybe I'll just stay with the DA/SA that I don't like nearly as well as any and every 1911 I've ever fired.
I think the main concern is that I might not be able to get THE EXACT holster I want for one of the smaller 1911's.
My wife tells me that's what we call a "first world problem" .... Eh, what does she know.

Next time she's trying to decide what kind of new furniture she wants, tell her it's a first world problem and see how that plays out...

Mag,

Compromise....let her have her furniture
You get the holster in exchange,

Nooooo, life isn't fair.

But ya got the holster.:)

Well, she will mess with me sometimes.

Then she'll tell me to just buy the dang Springfield already and stop worrying about getting THE perfect holster.

Hum

She was a little confused as to why a 100+ year old design could cost $1000 though.
So I told her: It's a Springfield, silly.... Lol :D

Before you drop a grand on an EMP have one in hand first. I believe you will be buying one after that. If it doesn't fit your hand then you saved a grand of disappointment. I believe finding a holster for it will be easier than finding one for those revolvers you have.
When I bought my Kimber Ultra Carry II I saw it at a gun show. I really liked the looks of it and then once in my hand and the feel of the trigger out came my plastic. It felt like it was made for my hand. The 3" barrel is great for carry concealment. Some people say the 1911 is prone to failure but I disagree. Out of all the semi autos I have had or own this one has been the most dependable.

I did put one in hand way back when I was in the process of "upgrading" to a double stack nine. It felt goooood.
That 9 sold for a LOT less and I wanted lots of bullets. (Things didn't work out with that first nine).

Seems the early EMP's had a hiccup here and there.
I believe everything is good to go with them now but I've yet to find another one to verify the fit.
Back when I held that one I didn't want to spend 1K. Now? Maybe after I hold it I won't let go of it but I will let go of $1000. ? Lol
I'm in no hurry. It ain't like I ain't got a gun.

Since summer is basically here now so I have been carrying my LC9s because it is so much lighter and smaller than my Bulldog 44.
I sure don't want to have to use it though. I don't think my ears can take the "KARAAAACK" of the 9mm. Ring Ring is anybody listening? Can you hear me now?
BTW: On a S&W forum the poll is almost 50/50. Big difference from here.

Very fond of my revolvers, my S&W Model 66 Combat Magnum in particular, and I'm good with one. But, I'm better with an auto loader. If the excrement ever gets real, I want to be better.
