I have several Ruger revolvers and a Ruger .22 rifle. Love them all. But am I alone in wishing Ruger would build a revolver that is basically an LCR with the dimensions bumped up just a tad to allow 6 rounds? I'm thinking a gun much like a Colt Detective Special, maybe with a 2.5" barrel to get a smidge more velocity. To make it a real treat they could package it with a nice IWB holster right from the factory.

Anyone else have similar ideas?

I don't, but I wanted to chime in and mention I carried the LCR .357 for a while. Finest trigger on a revolver out of the box you'll ever experience. It rode in the same place my EC9s rides now in my front pocket on the weak side. I only went to an auto loader for quicker reloads, however the EC9s has just as fine a trigger as the LCR did.

@TheBronze,

Be warned the .22 versions of the LCR, the triggers suck. Heavy springs to pop that rim fired primer. After I saw nicks post I got worried you'd run out and buy one because of what I said in my post.
