I'm the proud owner of two .44's a Charter Arms .44 Special.and a Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum.
Both guns are admirable. I also have a Redhawk 44 Mag , 4.2" barrel. And a Virginian Dragoon, and a Browning B-92. No 44 Special, though there are a few cartridges on hand.
Charter Arms Bulldog 44 spl. It is my main carry everyday now. I am spoiled by the 44 spl. round. The Bulldog ain't no beauty pageant winner but it serves its purpose for me.
How do you like the Taurus Tracker, Jim?
I really like it,
I dont shoot it much anymore, but when I bought it new, I shot it a lot.
Then I CCW it for about a year, its only 34oz I believe.
It's quite snappy, but my youngest daughter almost took it from me, because she liked shooting it so much.
The ribbed rubber oem grips really tame it .
The .44 Magnum is one of my favorite all around cartridges...and being able to shoot the .44 Special in the same platform is a definite bonus...
I have 2 44 magnums,a Magnum Research Desert Eagle pistol and a T/C G2 Contender carbine rifle.
Some don't know that you can shoot .44 Special from a .44 Magnum revolver. Clean the cylinders often so the magnums fit after shooting a lot of 'special'.
Here's my Super Duper Blackhawk w/ my new grips installed!!!!!
