[IMG] legal to hunt deer with below the rifle line in my state! I can't wait to take her out! Need a new optic, it came with that garbage. Any guesses as to what I paid?

$399? I've never looked at the package deal before.

    It goes for $729 normally, I paid $250. It's a 77/44 and a surprise/impulse purchase.

Apparently it was purchased under the assumption that it was a "sniper" rifle. The guy who sold it to me cautioned me against Ruger as he purchased this "sniper" rifle and he couldn't get better than a 4" group at 100m. Am I obligated to show him a target after I shoot it?

    :confused:A .44 mag sniper rifle? That's a new one.

Yeah, show the target off. I know I'd like to see what a scoped .44 bolt gun will do at 100 yards!

I'm assuming that this guy calls anything with a bolt and "big bullet" a sniper rifle. When I asked if he had a spare rotary magazine he didn't know what I was talking about till I said the word "clip" after that I took tge serial number to the CLEO just to make sure it wasn't piping hot. It's clean. He's just...challenged.

I didn't even realise you could get 44 mag in a rifle format.

    Sweat deal though.
