I started in the Ark Army NG in 1956. Did 21 months then went into the USAF in 1958. Did 4 years and got out. Was talked in to enlisting in the MS Air National Guard in 1974 and did 21 1/2 years. I'd still be in if I hadn't gotten to old. Recommend it to any young guy now.

Joined USAF in 2002 and did 7 yrs, 3 at Mtn Home AFB, Idaho and 4 yrs at Elemndorf AFB, Alaska. Also did three tours in the Middle East.

Transitioned straight into Alaska ANG in 2009 and still a member until further notice.

Enlisted in 1974. Retired in 1994. Security Police the entire time. Finished with 8 years at Minot.
