I need a value of Dads OM Blackhawk 357.
It only has bolt drag mark where bluing is worn a lil bit
Has factory and custom stag grips.
Has NOT been converted to trans bar.
6.5" mint blue and bore, hardly shot.
Also have the box he bought it in, when I was 12.
    many thanx
    ole John

yessir, wood grips AND an old western style holster that ties to your leg like in the old western movies.

Very nice Blackhawk you have there, value is dependent on condition which appears to be very good and history of the stag grips. Are you looking to sale or just information?

Beautiful rig! Looks like a SBH hammer also. Thought it might have had SBH grip frame also. But does not have square trigger guard. Is the trigger serrated? I would ask 700-750 because of the Sambar stag grips and SBH hammer.

I don't think Dad ever changed a thing cept the grips...trigger is smooth...the hammer has a rubber cover actually.
ALSO, have western holster, that ties to your leg like old west style, brown leather, hardly used.

Found the 9mm cylinder, with NO bolt drag marks, in its original pouch, in BOTH boxes, with the wax wrapping paper. , and orig grips.
How much more does this increase the value?
thanks so much...…...now STILL gota find that western holster it fits!

Are we sure the grips are made from Sambar deer?
Just asking cause I sold some Sambar's for $350 a while back. They were rare then, guess they still are now.

I might be interested in the gun belt / holster if it's small enough for my skinny self.
Don't really need another Blackhawk though.

BTW, that box it came in is worth some $$ all by itself.
Not trying to torpedo anybody's purchase but $800 may be too low for what you got there, IMO.

$950 after confirming the Sambars are real thru another Ruger expert. And, the red pouch and box for the 9mm cylinder, added to negligible bolt drag mark from being shot so little. View attachment 12178 bh stag1 (Copy).JPG

Yeah, me too. It's not like you will easily replace it, plus if I had got something like that from my dad, it wouldn't be going anywhere except the range and back to the safe.

The kid will never appreciate it (not the 1 in the pic) and we need to pay off my back surgery and wifes heart surgery and we have others of Dads. This 1 probably has the most value though. Thanks guys!
