Bought it new in 1976, although it is not a bicentennial model.
Does anyone know what Ruger will give for those? When I called
They said I would have to send it in first before they made me a tradein offer.
What could I expect to get at a gunshop?

A mini in that (what looks like in pic) pristine, mint condition, that vintage...

I'm saying it would be worth around the $700 range.

But you'll be sorry if you change it or trade it..;):)

That baby is a keeper.

Yes that is a good lookin gun , only problem is that it is no longer supported by Ruger " cant get parts " the only part of the gun that is something that people really want is the wood handguard. If it was me , I would put a Choate hand guard on it and sell it for as much as you could. Buy a newer Mini in wood and either use the wood hand guard or sell it . The wood handguard fetch's well over 75.00 for the original. At least you would have a newer gun that you could get parts for.
