The Ruger shop had a free shipping deal a few days back, so I got a speed loader for the LCR-357, and a Talon grip for the SR40c The speed loader is well made, clears the frame, and releases CCW, the way a speed loader oughta. The Talon grip was easy enough to apply so that even I managed it. Doesn't add any meat, but it is grippier.
Hah. It darn near needs free shipping - or that 20%-off-upto-$20 new gun thing - to make a Ruger shop deal worthwhile. The speed loader is thin-walled and fluted. It clears. The HKS speed loader isn't fluted, and that means there isn't a 'snuggle-in' capability. I don't know if their speed loader clears the frame, but it doesn't have that advantage.
