The Ruger shop had a free shipping deal a few days back, so I got a speed loader for the LCR-357, and a Talon grip for the SR40c

The speed loader is well made, clears the frame, and releases CCW, the way a speed loader oughta.

The Talon grip was easy enough to apply so that even I managed it. Doesn't add any meat, but it is grippier.

LOL couldn't pass up free shipping. How is the speed loader made that it clears the frame?

Hah. It darn near needs free shipping - or that 20%-off-upto-$20 new gun thing - to make a Ruger shop deal worthwhile.

The speed loader is thin-walled and fluted. It clears. The HKS speed loader isn't fluted, and that means there isn't a 'snuggle-in' capability. I don't know if their speed loader clears the frame, but it doesn't have that advantage.

I have the HKS speed loader and with a little wiggle it works. Without the wiggle.....not so good.
