Welcome from a Lone Star shooter here also. Yeah Ruger does get some flack from fan boys that are just one eyed all about their brand. There are many brands that made the West and the good ones like Ruger are still around. Here at RT we recognize many gun makers as being quality firearms. We like hearing the reviews on all models. The good, the bad, and the ugly. The name on the gun doesn't make the gun good or necessarily bad. The unbiased reviews speak the loudest.
