Austin,
I've heard of yellow gold, and white gold wedding rings, but that Texas "Black Gold" would just run off your finger.:D

Terry
I have gold and yellow in a couple of my tatts and I like it, but if it's alone I didn't think it would be as visible. I thought about doing some other designs, but went with a simple black bad.

I thought about getting two GP100's crossed over a Gadsden flag on my back with shall not be infringed underneath. Ended up not doing it because it would cost too much.

Seven tattoos at this point, but nothing gun-related -- and I'm unlikely to get any corporate logo for anything, even stuff I really like, permanently installed on myself. YMMV.

Proportions of guns are so crucial to how they look, I'd want to make sure I had someone experienced in drawing weapons before I'd sit under their needle. That said, one of my SP-101s would be pretty slick if I had just the right place for it.

got my first tat 3 months before my 51st birthday. now 50 or so. most of them family related with signatures of my children (5) and grandchildren (10). also many works of art including a redhawk on the outside of my right calf and a blackhawk on the left. i don't know if i enjoy wearing them more or the act of being inked. am contemplating what design to go with another grandaughters signature at this moment.

I got my first at 42. Now it's been several years since my last time under the "gun" and there are days where the mental itch starts to get another. In the past, my wife and I have always gone together, so we both have to be ready with a design and a place and feeling the itch. I think I'm at the point where I am getting overdue, while she is content with her ink status.

I look in the mirror and can't imagine not having my ink -- seems like the images were there all along, but just had to come to the surface.
