Sr9C cleaning

    Hello

    new member here, just recently purchased a new SR9C. i am reading about thoroughly cleaning the gun, i cleaned the slide assembly and barrel ect, but the frame, can i spray it with a solvent like kroil and blow it out, trigger was a little finicky,

    Yes you can spray internals with gun cleaning solvents without totally taking the gun down. Blow out the solvent and dap a touch of gun oil on the moving parts.
    Be real careful when removing the slide because it can really hurt a finger caught in a releasing slide. The manual says push down on a part before removing the slide. You push down on the wrong part and the slide will immediately fly forward with one heck of a lot of force. I think the manual says use a pencil rather than your finger. I know why they say that. I can see how someone could possibly lose a finger.

    Wait a minute, you're supposed to clean your gun? What page of the manual say's that?:eek:
