Yep, these are sweet looking pistols with great hand feel. I'm thinking of getting one, but was wondering if you had any trouble picking up the metal on metal sight picture without a front bead or dot?

Great looking grips. I have a 3" 327 Federal SP and love it. Has the Crimson Trace Laser grips on it.

Grips are nice! But the badger hurt shooting 357 158 grains. Nice on 38s.

I love my 101s. All now have custom Cocobolo inserts. I really need some new pics, because the inserts really add a touch of class. The 4" 22 is my favorite. Its simply a perfect 22 revolver. As soon as I can find the 4" 357, I will add that to my collection...

SP-101s are tops!

Those wood grips are sweet.

My wife and I each have a 3" .357 model, mine with Hogue grips now, though she is very happy with the factory grips. Once they came out, had to pick up the 4" version in both .357 and .22. The .357 4" is now the designated trail gun for walks in the woods around here, so I gave it some Hogue grips, too. The nice wood laser-engraved panels from its factory grips (a nice change from the old black panels) will probably end up on my wife's pistol. Hope to come across a hammerless snub version someday -- no luck since having to pass on one once a few years ago when I had another gun priority to fill first.

The allure of full wood grips has me thinking now about upgrading from the Hogue grips on my 3".
