My rear sight cross pin on my sp101 357 keeps working its way out. after a couple shots I have to push it back in. Any ideas on how to tighten it up. Would thread locker work? If I did use that do you reckon I would be able to get it out if I ever needed too.

The sight pin on my sp 22lr kept comming out. When it was out part way I tapped on it with a small hammer and put a very small bend in it, and tapped it back in. Good forever. Its very soft, so take it easy..

Thread locker or clear nail polish.

+1 ... when the pin is partway out, get a little Threadlocker in there (blue) and push it back it. Leave for 24 hours. It will then be fine.

I did the sight pin slight bend while I was out shooting. No waiting, and was free. More ammo money.
Some sight pins I have replaced on other brands came new with a slight bow. I would have thought by now Ruger would have come up with a fix for this common problem on their sp101s with adjustable sights.
If I would have had some threadlocker on hand, I would probably have tried that first.
