So tonight I stopped by my local gun shop to pick up my mail. There was a sp101 22LR in the case. I may have to replace my old rohn 22 with it. What a sweet gun. Is there any difference in the frame size if it was 357

Sp101 is SP101 regardless of chambering. Early ones did have "short" frames that allowed only (I believe) 125gr .357 mag due to OAL allowances. Anything since, is the same across the model line.

Heres a shot of my three... Top two are 357, and bottom is 22. All the same size frames. It looks like the top gun is smaller than the bottom, but its just the angle of the cameras lens at the moment of the picture

I have a SP101 in 357 and 22lr......the frames are the same....the barrels are the biggest difference....
