Thought I'd show off a bit. At one time I had a lot more Rugers, especially 10/22's but I've reduced my inventory over the last year or so. I do still have a few nice ones though.

My most recent. I found this standard auto the day after Christmas for less than $200.00.

50th anniversary Single Six.

William B. Ruger NRA Endowment edition Mark II.

I see I can only use four images, so I'll post the long guns in another thread.

I've got the Wm. Ruger commemorative, 1/2000 for the last Mark II's, the 50th Anniversary Mark II, and a SS bull barrel. I just added a Charger to my 10/22's, two SS rifles and a Take Down. I bought my Wife a blue and SS Single convertible. Last not least is my workhorse KP95.

Good collection Rugers. IMHO.

I bought a new 6" standard model like that in '77. It was my first .22 auto pistol. Used it so much, I wore most of the blue off it. They were 89 bucks at that time. Well worth the 2 bills ya gave for thawt one. I would have too.

$200 in the original box! I think you made one heck of a deal on that one!
I thought it was too. A few weeks later I bought another Standard, this one made in 1974, no box and papers for about the same price.

Since I'm not a collector, and I prefer the 4" barrel, I listed the 6" gun above for sale, for $250.00. I got an "I'll take it" in about fifteen minutes. Before long I had a dozen "I'll take it if he doesn't" offers.

I guess I didn't ask enough for it even then. :D
