Hi everyone,
This is my first post and I need a bit of help.
I' looking to add a detachable bipod to my silver 10/22 and I'm looking for a short, silver, picatinny rail that I can screw directly into the underside of the original wood stock.

I was able to find one in black, but I want silver (see link) to match my setup;

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you.

I'd do a sling swivel mount, if you don't have them then when added you can use of a sling. And then sling will attach to the bipod. My thoughts

I actually ordered a silver Uncle Mikes swivel set that I can mount the front either to the barrel band or directly into the wood.

I guess my question would be how stable/rugged is that little swivel going to be at supporting a bipod?
Also, will the bipod be easily detachable from it?

I still really like the idea of a small silver Picatinny screwed right into the wood.

Thanks again for your input!

A bi pod mounted to a swivel stud is plenty stout. Very easy to put on and take off. Do not attach a bi pod directly to the barrel, it can affect your accuracy use a swivel stud attached to the stock.
