Hello, I am new to this forum. Thought it might be a good place to show off my latest sculpture. It is a scaled up 3X Ruger security six. Thats 3x long.3X wide,3X deep. 3X3X3=27 So volume wise 27 normal sized ones would fit into this one. Aside from the front and rear sights which are aluminum and a stainless steel ro that goes through the cylinder, the rest is timber. Any comments or questions welcome.
That's impressive. Thanks for the pics. It would make one heck of a wall hanger. Talk about a conversation piece, you got one! How long did it take to make it? Have you done any other guns?
Hi MagnumBlackhawk. Finished it last weekend, started it about a year ago. However have only been working on it in dribs and drabs between other work. Have not kept a tally of the hours that went into it. A good deal of the time spent on it was working out how to put it all together. There are about 35 pieces in it. It is my first gun based sculpture.
Super nice sculpture. I would say it came from the custom shop division. I could go through that complete wood pile and end up with just kindling.
Wow..! I can tell that you have 2 things going for you. Talent and patience. That is awesome. Thanks for sharing. Jim
Cool thing........................................................................I'd love it in my yard.
Some people don't like their image out there on the internet... I for one don't...and know plenty of people who wish they never had... Once out there...it's NOT retrievable.
I get it completely! You'll rarely see me post pictures and really never of us personally. Personal preference.
