Scout rifle blues

Both are Redfield Battlezone with 308. caliber specific turret . 199.95 I think Midsouth has them for 185.00

 

Here is my Scout rifle.....I am really happy with group its shooting.......I am using a Nikon Prostaff scope......its not a big dollar scope, but it works well...

 

Excellent---a lot of full size smaller caliber rifles don't get groups like these little scouts.

 

What brand and weight ammo were you shooting?

 

not a ruger, but here is my Springfield armory 308 M1A which I have always wanted ===I'm gonna leave it iron sights I believe, although scope can be mounted with some minor modifications. It breaks clay pigeons at 300 yds routinely and is a real fun gun. Put me over the top financially but I love it.

 

I was shooting Winchester white box, 147 grain. Seems like pretty good ammo for target shooting....
