A NJ resident who was denied a permit to purchase or carry a firearm in 2013 has managed to get his case to be heard by SCOTUS. The plaintiff was denied in the district Court and the Circuit Court. However his compelling brief to SCOTUS has now brought the case to the highest court for review.

    Petition to SCOTUS here: http://14544-presscdn-0-64.pagely.n...nt/uploads/2017/01/stephens-supreme-court.pdf

This could be a very pivotal case in terms of state restrictions on 2A rights.

Trumps justice pick probably won't get in before this case reaches the court.
(Feb 17th, don't see it happening).

As it stands now it could turn out to be a 50/50 tie. When that happens ... nothing happens.
Not the best timing for our side. We can hope but :dunno:
