Anyone have one yet? I'm looking for one but I won't pay GB prices! I haven't checked all my LGS prices but my favorites can't get them. I'm thinking I'll wait awhile and find one on the used market. This should be one of those weapons people will shoot maybe half a box of ammo and decide it wasn't such a good idea after all!

Super Blackhawk in .480... I think you are right, especially if those people are not reloaders. It's pretty much a special purpose cartridge, and in the Super Blackhawk it becomes a special purpose gun.

I was just looking at one in .454, and I have the same feeling ill wait to be its second owner after someone gets rid of it.

The .454 Cassul guns have the advantage of accepting .45 Colt cartridges. You still need to be a reloader to have good 'playability', but there are a few micro-brew commercial cartridge makers who do hot .45 loads.

[I have only seen pictures of the SRH, but I don't like the looks of the barrel; it's an aesthetics thing.]
