Since nearly every Ruger gun listed is backordered, wouldn't it make sense to try to satisfy the existing demand before tooling up to build NEW models? I mean, why not pump out a few hundred thousand 10/22's and Mini's? Guess I just don't see the BIG picture!!!

I've been told they are trying to meet demand and running three shifts. But current demand has far exceeded output capacity.
I can't imagine what the factories look like right now. Constant nightly news reports about LEO not even being able to find guns.
