We think we have settled on the LCR/LCRX in 327 Federal, for my wife's carry gun. Does anyone know if the double action trigger is the same on both models? I have read that the LCR had a very smooth trigger. Does the LCRX have that also? I would really like the wife to have the option of a hammer for single action. I am not to worried about snagging the hammer upon presentation, as the one we looked at had a pretty healthy hammer pull back to it. Lastly, I have seen on youtube where the poster had serious worries about the LCRX having only one screw holding it together vs two for the hammerless LCR. Thoughts please.

I’m not familiar with the LCRX. My guess is that it should all be the same as the LCR only slightly larger size.
The one screw holding it together is a fastener. The gun it’s self is strong and sturdy enough to take the abuse of recoil.
You will not be disappointed.
