Howdy, I've put 1,655 rounds through my .22 LCR( I keep count). I've shot about every brand and strength. It always works and is more accurate than I am. Does any one know the life, round expectation, of the little .22 . Mine still looks good?
The LCR is a revolver. No slide, return springs, etc. I have the same gun with even more rounds through it than yours. Keep it cleaned and lubed and it will go a lot longer. Revolvers get very dirty fast, so I clean my LCR after each range visit (about 200 rounds). Never had a problem. It’s a great gun.Ask Ruger. I would invest in a couple of extra return springs and change them at about 1500/2000 rds.It will help save wear and tear on the slide etc. Also an extractor and firing pin would be good to have around. I have an LCPII with about 300 rds through it and it has been 100%. I like it a lot.
