Just saw a post on the Ruger Facebook page showing off this new line, so ran to Ruger.com to check them out. Based on the American platform chambered in 22LR and 22magnum, in a full size and compact versions. Comes with iron sights as well. Looks like they use the same rotary magazines as the 10/22 platform. Nice look bolt action Rimfire rifles definitely adding one to my long list of guns to get. Sent from my iPhone using Ruger Forum
Would like to see more chamberings to come though specifically the 17hmr or even better would be the new 17winmag. Sent from my iPhone using Ruger Forum
Check out this video on YouTube: [ame]http://youtu.be/H5VzRK0PehY[/ame] This is my local gun store.. Check it out
And this guy I like a lot from gun blast.com Check out this video on YouTube: [ame]http://youtu.be/FsDD8nCTaXg[/ame]
Looks good. I would like a wood stock. I like the adjustable trigger, as I have said, my new 10/22 Lazer has a miserable trigger. Hate the idea of buying a new rifle, and having to buy an aftermarket trigger.
Other than the interchangeable stock/cheek weld, what is the functional difference between the Ruger American Rimfire and a 77/22?
Well it's got iron sights, if its true to the American line it comes fully bedded, and with the adjustable trigger. Those would be the obvious functional differences. And the MSRP is $600 less Sent from my iPhone using Ruger Forum
As bad as I feel, Had a funeral today I had to attend. On the way home ,stopped by a little gunshop, just to be nosey. He was opening 6 of these. I fondled and I LIKE. Nice gun. GREAT TRIGGER. He was asking $329.00, which is MSRP. I seen them already on interwebs for $289.00. I will be having one. Jim
Check out the video post of yesterday at 03:22. He mentions the .17 cal. coming but didn't specify which one.
spoke to my local Sportsman's, the fella that answered the phone hadn't heard about it but on my giving him the info that was on this site and on the "Ruger" site with the "msrp" he said it would probably sell at around $250.00-$260.00. He is definitely going to pursue this BTW they have the BX-25 AND the BX-25X2.
