A couple of years ago I purchased a Galco leather holster for my Alaskan off of the Ruger website. Although the holster was a good fit to the revolver, the belt slot design was way undersized. After getting some rude “lip” from Galco’s customer service staff when I inquired about having them convert it to a paddle holster, I decided to take on the project myself. I borrowed a leather paddle from my Stoner 1911 holster, and affixed it using the same t-nuts & spacers that Stoner uses (ACE Hardware stuff). It is now fully functional, rides tight, and can even be canted if so desired... ;)

Good job,

Necessity is the mother of invention,

A good example of that.

Nice work.
