Yes! Both of these setups allow for easy use of iron sights in addition to red dot sights. The Mini-14 has a slightly raised rail on the Ultimak Scout Mount for see-through ability, while the Mini-30 employs a Warne QD ring for easy removal without losing zero...

I didn't realize the Ultimak was a see-through rail, I know the Amega is see-through.
It isn't. If you look closely, you will see that I installed a second rail on top of the Ultimak. That second rail is the one that is see-through...;)

I'm wanting to get see through scope rings for mine when I get it,so I can use the iron sights for close range.

I don't believe eye relief is an issue with that particular optic.
