My new Ruger American Rifle in .22-250 is ready to go when spring gets here. Mounted the Simmons 4-12x40 AO scope last evening, and bore sighted it. Have a box of Hornady 'Superperformance' cartridges, and Hornady 60 gr. bullets, and cases to load with W760 powder. I'll hold off making those cartridges as long as I can, because then the pressure could build exponentially (in me, not the cartridges). The club range is open year around, but I don't tolerate the cold near as well as I used to.
