I don't know why I been wanting one for a long time.

I've only see 3 in the past 5 years or more.

The other 2 were $300 and $350, and were not in good shape.

They have a reputation of very accurate for 2.4" barrel. I hope to find out tomorrow.

This one is like new , great bore, fit and finish is nice.
Its a Beretta.

I was happy to take it off his hands for $250.

Mfg in 1992 by s/n.

When I saw your subject line I thought of the Bobcat on wheels. Ought to be handy on a farm. That Beretta doesn't need wheels.

Is that stains or oxidation on the frame?

What, where? There is grip tape around the frame on the handle, there is discoloration both from the flash and it being old....what exactly are you looking at? (gun has been sitting in storage...only reason I have it is MIL threatened suicide when FIL had a stroke...it was removed to insure she didn't go through with it. Actually belongs either to spouse or spouse's Aunt (somewhere there is another 22 laying around). Gun is stamped 1956.

For giggles I checked gunwatcher and the Bobcats listed sold from $292 to $460. Seems Jim got a really good deal on his.

Thanks guys, it was just one on my list for a long time,

They are built so good, and shoot really great.

Unlike the copy from Taurus PT 22, which is DA only,
while the Bobcat is DA/SA.
