On a new gun it should be adjusted at the factory shouldn't it? Or does this need to be done before shooting the first time?

I have not adjusted mine since I purchased it but I do check it to insure it locks up easily. I would shoot it and if are not satisfied with the easy of assembly the it may be adjusted. The manual is quite clear on what to do and to dry fire it and cycle it to to make sure it is correctly tightened.
