I picked up a mini tactical earlier this year, but really don't have much of a place to shoot rifles. It was a nice piece, but I'm also used to bolt guns that shoot 3 shot groups that touch.

I sold my Redhawk when I got married and have missed it ever since.

Well I guess I took advantage of the high market value of the tactical frenzy and got pretty good money out of the Mini.

Now it's time for the real fun!

(it came with the 2x20 Simmons, but I'm most likely going to stick with iron)

    The kicker:

I've still got a lot of my 44 mag stuff from before including my speed loaders and 900 rounds of barkin' hand loads. (180's, 240's, 300's) My dad is also giving me some extra brass, 165's, & h110. Going to pick up some 225ftx next weekend.

My next priority is a Super 14 in 223.

I could get into one of them also, you could also get a .44 mag barrel for it.;)

I would like an Encore with .223 barrel.

But them .44 mags are so much easier to reload.:)

Since I had the mini, I've got a ton of 223 stuff. I got tired if chasing brass with the mini.

Yep, I was either going to get a TC with 44 & 223 barrels, or a Redhawk and save up for a TC 223. I couldn't get past the Redhawk.

There are mods that put reduced bushings into the gas block to reduce flinging brass. My Mini 30 does toss them but I'd rather have vigorous extraction and ejection than risk compromising reliability. Just my choice. Don

True, true. I think the Redhawk will be reliable though, hahaha.
