Hello everybody. New member here and already need help. LOL Here's the question I have. This weekend I bought a Ruger #1 varminter without a scope on it. I didn't realize at the time the eye relief would be so long. To get proper relief, I Have to slide my cheek almost off the comb toward the optic. Does anyone know if there is a scope with a long enough tube to alleviate this? It was in the box with the wedges and ring. I've never seen one like that before. Thanks for any help you offer. It's a cool looking rifle in 22-250 and looks like it hasn't been fired of if it has, very seldom. Thanks for any help you offer.

Mike

Have the same rifle. Mine has an old Simmons on it. (back when they were 1/2 decent). I had it as Ann extra, put it on and it worked well so never bothered changing it. It is set as far back as the scope will allow.
Try a set of the Ruger off set rings. It'll gain you about an inch or so.
