^^ NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Md. (May 14, 2013) The X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) demonstrator lands at Naval Air Staion Patuxent River, Md., after completing the first launch of an unmanned aerial vehicle from CVN-77.
That had to be one awesome time you guys had.
I cant imagine being up close to some of that equipment.
Makes you wonder how any country could ever consider going up against the USA.
Great pics man,
Great pictures Shooter, thanks for sharing.
It s not the weapon but the mind behind it that determines the effectiveness and danger involved with the use of it!
In this case the Navy has good equipment and brave, trained, and ready personnel. What they lack is a CIC that is willing to use it effectively!
If I have a short barreled (18.5 inch) pump action shotgun with a mix of shot and slug ammo, and have trained and practiced with it 3-5 times a week, then when an intruder enters my house and threatens my family, if I do not USE that weapon for the defense of my family , it is so much scrap metal!
Awesome pics! kinda my neck of the woods. We live in Richmond, near the airport.
