IMG-20131001-00227.jpg Just added the Ruger SR1911 CMD to the collection. Unfortunately it is not as accurate as my 5" SR1911 that shoots dead-on two inch patterns where it is aimed. My favorite handgun.

Out-of-the-box after 100rds of 230gr FMJ, the SR1911 CMD shoots tight patterns two inches low. I'm going to try some +P to see if the groups rise to dead center. Looks like an adjustable rear sight may be a solution.

My SR1911 CMD is a bit of a safe queen.....but it is the only handgun I take to the range every time! Awesome fun to shoot, my favorite!
