Does anyone know when this new heavy barrel RAR Target model is going to be available to public.. I can't wait to see it in person.. I almost bought a Savage .17 BVSS last week, then I saw/read Rugers press release of their new rifle, I decided to wait to buy my first .17HMR.. I am a Ruger man and want to give them the first look..

It's my understanding that Ruger doesn't advertise a new firearm until they're ready to ship them.
If that's true, it should be available now.
