I picked up a very nice MKIII 22/45 Target model the other day. It's the 4.5 slab side barrel, blued, box, both mags, paperwork and lock. the spent shell envelope is dated 03-2007.
I haven't had a chance to get it to the range yet, but I really like the feel of it. I've had a couple standards over the years, but haven't owned a 22/45 since the 1st year they came out.
Since moving here, I've found out ranges are higher priced, so I need to maximize the cost of spending time on the range. Nothing like a good solid Ruger to do that.

Post some pictures if you can do that. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with the Mark III version. Some complain about additions like the "loaded chamber indicator" and "magazine safety device", but those can be replaced very easily.

kCongrats on the new pistola. Don't have a .22/45......yet. Do have a couple of stainless Mk II target models and a 4' blue standard right now. Have had several other Mk I & IIs, but no .22/45s.

Will be waiting for the range report.
