Hello all I just joined but am a long time ruger fan. I've owned several mark III's, a couple blackhawks, a super blackhawk, multiple 10/22's, a M77 in .204, a No.1 in .375 H&H, and a No.3 in 45-70. Being a habitual gun trader I've been w/o a ruger in my collection since december, but I fixed that last saturday. I picked up a 1971 3 screw blackhawk with 6.5" barrel for $400, it's got some minor holster wear and some wear on the grips but that just adds character. I've always wanted a 3 screw .357 and this was the first .357 and only the 3rd 3 screw I'd ever seen so naturally I had to have it. It's also nice to see that all those 158gr. LSWC's I loaded up back when I had my new model will finally get some use. I'll try to get some pics up when I get home.

Well here it is the worst spot is on the corner of the ejector rod housing. But overall it's not bad for being 42 years old.

My Super Blackhawk was purchased new in Nov., 1979. Still mint cond. I also have a MK11 that's about 20 yrs old, and my new fave., a GP100 I've purchased used just a few weeks ago. Love shooting that one. It'sjust had the barrel ported and right now is at the gunsmith getting trigger and action job. Can't wait to try it after this work is done.
