    Greeting members!

In 1982 my dad gave me a ruger .357 Blackhawk. Like a fool that always saw the grass greener in the other field I sold it. After 31 years I finally got it back from the son of the man I sold it too!

It will never leave me again. Now I'm all enthused with rugers again.

I expect to have lots of questions and comments

Yeah that is an amazing story, definitely adds to the familiar heirloom value just because of the story. Of course heirloom value isn't street value, just what it's worth to you and hopefully a long line of family it gets passed down to, sentimentally.

Good story. Good to get one back that has a history.

Recently had an old gun trader friend try to pry a 4 5/8" BlackHawk in .41 mag. out of me. I have had it since 76. He even tried a Ruger .44 mag semi-auto carbine that was made in the late 60s. I was really tempted, but the .41 Mag had been a birthday gift from the wife and I just couldn't do it. The old guy was so hot for one, he went to the next gunshow and bought one just like it, about the same vintage. He gave 5 bills for it. Taht's about 325 more that we got mine for slightly use and way back then.:D
