Hello all! I have recently bought my first handgun, a Ruger 1911. Before buying this gun, I only had experience with military weapons when I was in the Army. I never had a handgun, but I did fire or carry M16, M249(SAW), .50 machine gun, and the Mark 19. I live in Maryland, which makes having a handgun a little more difficult than other states.
