My name is Scott. I am a new,to me, Mini 14 owner, but not new to the rifle. When I started my Security job at a local Nuclear Power Plant way back in1980, we had Mini 14s. So I have shot a few rounds through them.
I recently acquired a 186 series Mini. Looking forward to some good weather so I can get out and try it out. Reading different comments about the older (pre186) ones got some things I would like to add someday. First thing I would like is a picatinny rail and a red dot sight.
So a question I have is: does anyone make a picatinny rail for the 186 standard carbine the requieres little (read as "no") gunsmithing?
