After a long search for the right firearm for the wife, I picked her up an SP101. After changing the hammer spring to 9#, and the trigger spring to 8#, some shim work, and polishing, and an oil bath, well, she shoots it better than me. I seem to shoot it better with .357 than .38. She shoots it well with both. I guess we made a good choice. That single action pull is downright scary!!!!!!!!!!! A nice revolver, a bit choppy from the factory, but with some work, a very good CCW choice.
