Hi, I hope you are all doing well. This 10 22 is my first civilian rifle. I used to own a shotgun but wanted something more range friendly (not to mention wallet friendly :) ).

Ruger 10/22 carbine, Butler Creek folding stock, UTG red/green dot sight, laser (on barrel band, hard to see), 50 round mag, fore grip/bipod on picatinny rail

    Thanks, Jim

I'm thinking of doing the same set up with a Mini 14 rather than an AR build. We'll see.

That's a might fine weapon you have there. A Ruger will give you many years of entertainment and enjoyment. I hope you enjoy it and by the way, welcome to the forum.

Welcome to RT! Hope you enjoy the 10/22. Should be a fun range gun. As a geezer with a 10/22 from the '70s, stock except for the 4X Bushnell scope, I'm fairly amazed at how these guns can be - and are - modified. Mr. Ruger has done several things right over the years, and the 10/22 is one of them.
