Supposedly the county Sheriff has more authority to enforce the rule of law than any other government power or agency. It is about time that all Sheriffs upheld their oaths to their office over seeing the Constitutional powers are held in check.

Most county sheriffs have several civic duties, enforcing the laws of the land being one of them. Unilateral interpretation of the US Constitution isn't one of those duties.

Our county sheriff said, "anyone who can legally carry a gun, should carry a gun". He runs the CCW classes, too.
