Shown is my November '21purchased RUGER PC chassis carbine with the following upgrades:
1.) M*CARBO PARTS-> Mini Brake, raised mag release button, bolt extractor, bolt recoil pad, wide bolt hold open lever
2.) MAGPUL PARTS-> QD forearm flush cup, MBUS folding sights, Angled Forearm Grip, K2 pistol grip, one & two point QD sling
3.) FOLDING STOCK-> Midwest Industries "folding buffer adaptor", LBE buffer tube, original MAGPUL MOE adjustable stock
4.) SIGHT-> HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight
UPDATE: 1.)TACCOM machined Delrin flared mag well 2.)MAGPUL 1/4" high cheekpiece for my MOE adjustable stock. Now I get perfect eye-t-reticle alignment with my AEMS sight.

**To prevent "mag wobble" you must shim the rear of the mag well area (before inserting GLOCK mag adaptor). I used two layers of black Gorilla Tape. RUGER NEEDS TO FIX THIS WITH A BETTER FITTING ADAPTOR!

Looks nice. My question is...in your opinion, are all the add-ons something that improves function?

I know some are for sure...but that's a lot of stuff...

Jim
Well Jim you may have a point there.
Will I ever use the MAGPUL MBUS "backup" sights? Hopefully not.
Could I get along without the MAGPUL Angled Front Grip? yeah but i like the hold it gives me.
Do I REALLY need a folding stock? No. But I hated the flimsy RUGER stock's "I" beam.
So why add these items at all? One word: "BADASSERY". Or a second word: "TACTICOOL" Hey, I'll admit it.
All the other items are functional and many of them add to reliability. And I'd never give up that great HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight.
->And that MAGPUL sling? Well the damn carbine now weighs just under 9 pounds! Nearly 10 pounds when loaded with a 33 round "Happy Stick".

So I went a bit overboard on the PC chassis carbine but it was fun!

Badassery and tactikool are reason enough!

I think you did what most of us think about when we look at "options, upgrades and accessories" and start looking at them all...

The magpul sling?...I'm ordering one...

The bolt recoil pad...is that something that was recommended?

Jim,
->The bolt buffer pad was softer yet more durable than the RUGER pad according to M*CARBO. Softer? Yes. More durable? We'll see. In any case I have the original pad if needed.
->The short muzzle brake? Because I didn't want any more length than necessary and that heavy carbine already had lower recoil than lighter PCCs I've shot like the Kel Tac SUB 2000. The brake does seem to make a difference, to my surprise.
->The MAGPUL QR sling mount cup on the forearm was necessary to use the sling as a 2 point. RUGER put a flush cup in the rear of the receiver but left the consumer to add the front cup. I guess to keep a "price point" RUGER had to omit a few balls and whistles.
->The M*CARBO mag release button is better than OEM but not as protruding as the TandemKross button. I plan to compete with the PC and thought this would help.
->TACCOM's machined Delrin flared mag well is, again, for faster reloads in the heat of competition. Sucker just snaps on very tightly and is not as huge as other extensions.
->I mentioned that the MAGPUL 1/4" high cheek piece perfectly solved my sight alignment problem. I highly recommend this method as opposed to trying a different (and spendy) sight mount B/C you can get, with add-on pads of various thickness, exactly what you need.
My buddy with the Kel Tec Sub 200 carbine also M*CARBOed his PCC for more durability. M*CARBO got its start doing upgrades for the Sub 2000.
Peace, low ammo prices and God Bless Ukraine! Eric B.

Thanks for all the cool info.

BTW, I just ordered a sub-2000 the other day...and I'm looking at an AK-V (I gotta stop watching gun videos)
