[LCR]

I wanted to share my thoughts of why I think night sites are important. I kind of like the idea of hiding and still being able to fire if needed. The same thing would be important if you were out side hiding beside a storage shed and the intruder was in your yard light.

One picture is the view of what a intruder would see when going to my bedroom, this picture is around 20' from my bedroom door. And the other is what I see looking out my bedroom lying in bed.

The light is a small florescent light over my kitchen sink we use for a night light.

The night sites were added after the picture of my LCR by my locker.

The final selling point for me was the fact that this LCR had the XS tritium front sight. I have the big dot tritium on both my XD-9 and my 12ga. They make all the difference in low/no light.

Is it a 357 or 38 special? What is your preferred load? I have a DOA SP101 with 2-1/4" barrel and load lightweight 110gr Win JHP.

Mine is a 38. I carry with the federal nyclad. I also have some Speer gold dots.

Not a lot. Hornady CD had much more felt recoil IMHO.
