I recently found another forum that told me to seek out Ruger Customer Service to ship me a picatinny rail for my 582 series gun, account the guns were drilled and tapped but ship without the rail. Ruger sent me the picatinny rail free of charge!Their customer service is awesome! The rail is installed waiting for scope and rings. I went with a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33 with accu-range reticle and Burris xtreme tactical rings. Finished results: 582 series with Ruger factory rail, Burris Extreme Tactical rings(low), Redfield 2-7x33 accu-range reticle, and Hogue ghillie green over mold stock. Oh...and Quake industries sling.

OK! Now you gotta stop playing with it, and shoot it... a lot. Then come back here and brag about it. Bragging is fun too.

:D
