:cryinglaugh:This is most likely a silly question but one I need answered before I maybe pull a real blooper.:cryinglaugh:
The flash suppressor on my new 10/22 Tactical will not stay tight. I am constantly having to tighten it. I am leery of tightening it too tight.

Is it acceptable to apply some "Threadlock" ? Would this be a bad thing to do ?

I have not been able to find an answer online ....

Thread lock red is released by application of heat, blue is released by torque, I am thinking either would be negated by the heating up and recoil of your weapon.
