Does this surprise anybody? Hillary is saying they need take the fight against the NRA for more gun control. Biden saying we need more gun control.
First of all why aren't they realizing automatic guns are already illegal to own without a permit. Did the automatic gun control laws stop this shooting? No and neither will any other new gun control laws stop crazed shooters.

I also heard them saying we need even greater surveillance to stop this kind of horror but at the same time they say there is no way to protect/stop these mass killings. They don't know who or where the next one could happen. They were saying we need more heavily armed police watching from atop buildings. Basically what I see them wanting is a total police state and they are sure trying to make the people believe a police state is the only answer. They want the presence of armed swat patrols and cops a common sight.
    Here comes the police state.

I read and saw another report that showed the windows from where the shooting supposedly came from are actually on two separate floors. The MSM is claiming the shooter shot from one room then from another room. It seems the more likely story here is there was more than one shooter. Of course as in other shootings the shooter killed himself so he couldn't be questioned. The shooter supposedly had 16 guns and ample ammo and one report that he also had explosives. Seems the shooter decided to quit early for some reason. Why didn't he have a grand finale when he knew the swat teams were on their way? Heck he could have possibly leveled the hotel as his finale but then they might not have been able to identify his body. Maybe he did think things out.

They said they knew what room the shooter was in because the smoke alarm went off. It seems all they had to do was look at the building and see two rooms had the windows smashed out. How come the swat teams didn't go to both rooms? The swat teams might have found the second shooter still in the other room on another floor. But like past mass killings we will see the story develop to cover over things that don't add up.

I just don't understand what makes a person, a millionaire no less, decide to kill and harm a lot of people he doesn't know. Silly me it happens more often than we will ever know. Get ready for the police state and having to show your papers at check points. Does that sound absurd? Well like they say history repeats itself because people don't learn from it and see the signs. Are we seeing the signs?

A mod of ours on Glock Forum has a son who works at LVMPD, and was a first responder. He said in the next few days, we will be blown away about what they have found about so far on this mass killer.

I was still awake when it started. I was able to get on and listen to the first responders on an app I have to listen to local Leo’s etc.. My hats off to those hero’s. I’ve never been more impressed with how “calm” they all were in the heat of the moment. So many reports of shots fired from different locations and they were very organized in getting them all checked immediately. Even listened when they breached the room the shooter was in.
What’s interesting is there’s reports of someone (I hear a female) saying something along the lines of “you all are going to die tonight” not long before the shooting started.
Will be interesting to see how this all unfolds. So tragic.
I will not comment on Hillary as I don’t have ANYTHING nice to say as she tries to use this tragedy as part of her agenda before the blood has even stopped flowing.

It was reported that a man and a woman had gotten into the crowd and up to the stage. They warned the people their lives were in danger because a shooting was going to happen. The man and woman were escorted out of the crowd shortly before the shooting happened.

This shooting wasn't carried out by one lone nutjob. It is also believed the shooting didn't come from the hotel because the gunfire was heard over the loud music. The hotel is so far away it wouldn't have been heard over the loud concert music.

Interesting. Adds a twist to the single shooter story if it’s true.

My G/F just came in to tell me that FaceBook is reporting shots also coming from the 12th floor of the hotel. I myself think it was actually shots fired from the grassy knoll, and somewhere, somehow, Lee Harvey Oswald will be involved.

He lived in Sun City, Mesquite, Nevada. They have Del Webb Sun Cities everywhere. We drove through the huge Sun City near Round Rock Texas last month. Yeah, these are retirement homes, but range from $250k - $500k each. You have your own 3 bed, 3 bath home, where you can drive your own golf carts to the pool, or the wood shop, the the ladies social, to the weekly dances. They are individual homes that has private roads and gardening service. This is not your typical elderly convalescent home.

The script is going to be rewritten daily to explain away the daily new information that exposes the lies. I promise you that with all the people at that concert there will be many eyewitness reports from people that were there at the concert. Just watch how stupid the script will change.

If this was a movie the critics would have a field day with it. To much doesn't fit or make sense. So to speak they should have wrote the book first instead of making the movie first.

While this is all going on let's not forget about the people in PR that life saving supplies are being withheld from them. Trump is supposed to be in PR today and I just wonder what will happen with those containers on the docks now. If Trump doesn't get those containers out of dry rot dock then he is taking part in the plan to kill off the PR people.

I think we can agree that France has some of the strictest gun control laws on the planet. All those laws didn’t stop madmen from using firearms to murder 89 innocent people at the Bataclan Theatre in 2015.

    More gun laws won’t help.

I am going to reserve my thoughts on this ordeal, HOWEVER I have listened to Hildebeast, Schummer and Pelosi and I have to say that the blood has not even dried on some of the victims and they have managed to turn this whole mess into a political ordeal. The same goes for some of the news media, CNN being a fine example. This is a testament though to those who were in danger and still had the courage to help others, regardless of color, political persuasion, or religious beliefs. These were Americans who were shot and no one person stopped to ask any questions. They just dove in there to help our fellow Americans. It goes to show that when the chips are down, the American people will resolve to help whomever they can.
It's a shame that this has gone political so fast without thoughts and prayers going out to the people who lost loved ones. May God help the people still in the hospital fighting for their lives. Courage was shown between everyone, first responders, fire men and women, the men in blue and just plain people who took it upon themselves to be unselfish and help others.

One of the reports says that they found bump stocks in his room. A bump stock can cause a semi auto rifle to perform like a full auto rifle or basically like a machine gun. I bet these bump stocks will be next in line to be outlawed. Bump stocks can be bought now for around $300.
Here is a video of Hickok45 demonstrating how the bump stock works. For shooting a mass crowd of thousands of people this is deadly.
Supposedly these bump stocks are legal because it replaces nothing on the gun internals to make it classified as a machine gun.

I have had guys bring the bump stock ARs to my shoot , in years past, and of 40-50 guys, who tried it, almost no one could make it work.

Only 2-3 guys, after lots of trying and practice , finally got it to work, sorta ( short burst at best).

It's not something your just gonna pickup and start firing like the above video.

It takes a certain feel and grip (or non grip) to actually make it work.

Even after trying and practicing I finally got it to go thru a full mag, and you certainly don't have the control to be accurate and precise. Maybe after lots of practice.

    IMHO...they are totally a toy thats useless.

BUT, I don't want anybody telling me that I can't buy one if I so desrie.

I sure wouldn't think a 22lr has enough recoil to make the bump stock work. Like one video showed the guy had quite a few tries before he got it to work. Yep IMO just a toy to see how much ammo you can waste. If that's your thing then have at it.
Guy next door asked how much and when he heard $299 he said nah. He has a problem affording to buy a 50 round box of 22lr.
