Looking to buy a new MK IV. My dealer has a MK IV Target 5.5" bull barrel for just under $400.00 and the MK IV 22/45 5.5" bull barrel for just over $300.00.
    Why such a price difference?

I'm gonna guess that it's the old mark III 22/45. If it's the IV, he has it under priced and you should grap it!

The dealer says it is marked "MK IV". Going to go look at it today.

That's a great price on the Mark IV. BUY IT.

Great price on both! There is over $100.00 difference MSRP between the two. My guess, 22/45 is polymer grip frame, Target is one piece CNC machined aluminum.

Does anyone know if the picatinny rail underneath the barrel of the MKIV Tactical can be removed?

Grab a gun has a mk iv 22/45 for $285.00 + 7.99 S&h, and my FFL charges $25.00 transfer fee so $317.99 out the door.

Consider, the metal grip frames on the Mark IV are machined, while the 22/45 Mark IV Zytel grip frames are injection moulded.
