Just ordered my new mini 14 with wood stock and 20 round magazine,I wanted 1 with a 5 round magazine but everybody he gets them from was out and he didn't know how long it would be and since I was going to get a couple additional magazines anyway,I went with the 20 round gun. I'll pick up a 5 round magazine and a 30 round magazine too.Who knows, maybe even a 10 round 1 :D. I'm putting a 4-16x scope on it too. Pictures to follow when it comes in.

I am sure that he is dealing with a serious varmint problem. He shoots 'em with one gun until the barrel gets too hot, then picks up the next gun... maybe has the wife reloading for him. I've worked in Indiana, there were varmints galore even in the civilized parts around Greensburg.

Well like Hillman said I'll just switch guns when one gets too hot, this will be my 3rd .223 but I'm NOT an addict,I swear :D. And yes we have a lot of coyotes around here,I hear them regularly, just wish I could get a shot at one,but I'm trying ;).

For cripe sakes SH isn't no addict he only has three .223 rifles. SH you have to get them rifles out of the house to get a shot at them thar coyotes. It's like the lotto you can't win if you don't play.
I have to say when I have a gun I never see any deer. Without a gun I will see them for some reason.

I know that's part of my trouble, only made it out once last year and haven't made it out at all yet this but the little SOBs always sneak around behind me a wind me. I need to get a call with longer range and hunt with the wind to the side or at an angle behind me so I can see them going around I guess. The problem is on the 3 properties I have the wind would have to be out of the west or northwest and it doesn't happen much at times I can go. I had the trouble for years with deer, wind in the face my arse,I see more with it to my back.

    :)

I'm pretty sure that's an exaggeration - dunno how much of one. Slow mental reaction time caused by deep grooves, that can be confused with 'dumbness'. If the grooves are deep enough, maybe there is no getting out of them.

Could be a fatal condition in jaguar country - or in parts of Philadelphia.

The average human thought Obama was going to bail them out and pay their mortgages. Rocks stand their ground.
