I want one. That is all.
I have one.
Ditto for me
Last I heard, they're for sale .. matter of fact, I saw a couple at the show in G'Burg on Sunday
I have one also.
Had one several decades ago, but hard times happened & had to sell it
I had one, the tactical version with the folding stock, until that unfortunate boating accident.
Got it love it
I originally wanted a M1 carbine, but one day I went into the GS and one of the other guys in there was looking at a 2011 mini 14 ranch. I couldn't get my mind off that rifle. A couple months later I went and got my own.
Check this website and keep checking until you find one. They are out there but getting scarce.
It has a new home. 187 series
I have not been on the search, but are you guys saying that you can not find these.
My LGS has at least 1 in stock all the time.
This is mine....
The mag in the gun plastic?
best I can remember ,without diggin in the safe, its a promag.
I have only shot a few hundred rounds thru it.
All I can say is, that I had NO accuracy problems at 100 yds, once I got it tuned in.
But I will tell you, mine will NOT cycle Wolf steel case ammo.
No problems with any other brass case ammo.
What kind of problems have you had with the Wolf ammo? I've shot it through mine without any difficulty...although I do prefer good old-fashioned brass cases.
Nice looking rifle, by the way.
Mine would jam the round, on the ramp, when trying to load next round into chamber. Every round, could not get it to run Wolf.
I dont know why, I just quit using it.
Brass case smooth as silk.
Interesting. If I'm not mistaken, that's a more recent model Mini you've got there...mine's an older 195-series Ranch Rifle. Feed ramp designed just a little bit different between the two, maybe? (Anyone out there know if this is the case?)
Anyway, as long as yours feeds brass-cased ammo all right, I guess it's not much of an issue.
Yeah, not very old, I bought it new in Dec 2010.
Added scope, sling, fore grip , thats about it.
Like I said its mostly a safe queen, maybe 2-3 hundred rounds.
My neighbor shoots it more thanI do. I remember him emptying a 30 rnd mag once, rapid fire, set it down, then picked it up by the barrel,
He put it back down REALLY fast. He got quite a burn on his hand.
I was hemming and hawing about a Mini-14 Ranch Rifle, blued with synthetic stock, for $699 at a LGS when the panic hit -- snooze, ya lose. Oh well, I was keeping an eye out for an all-weather model anyway. Maybe someday when the gun market regains its senses.
